About  Masu Souffle Soap

The Moisturizing Soufflè Soap consists of natural Japanese ingredients that are integral to the country’s traditional ancient culture. Simplicity is key when it comes to EDOBIO skincare products, each soap is expertly crafted with the delicate, specific components for the most desirable results.

Made in Japan with only premium natural ingredients. We use no preservatives to enhance colour or fragrance.

Culturing lactic acid bacteria and yeast together produced our original lactic acid bacteria “BiProGE®” that we have utilized in this alkaline soap which is suitable for both the face and body.

Concentrated “Soufflé ” type of foam filled with natural, moisturizing elements. Suitable for all skin types and sensitive skin.

About Japanese Ukiyo-e Soap Dish

Our soap gift set comes with an unique soap dish. it is highly water-absorbing ! Made from diatomaceous earth and vermiculite which is kind of fossil algae or seaweed and featuring an original Ukiyo-e painting.

By using Japanese special ink, we created a method that will prevent water permeation. The color we used for soap dish, Indigo is one of the oldest colors used in blue dyes and called “Japan Blue”  because many Japanese artists used it including the famous Utagawa Hiroshige.

Light reddish dyeing only with safflower is another historical traditional colour which dates back to the Heian period.

The circular shape of the soap mat is also seen to be an auspicious shape in ancient Japanese traditions.
